I created a full brand identity that’s playful yet professional, captures the essence of community and resonates with the target audience.

NZ Remote is carving out a space as New Zealand’s go-to platform for remote workers and digital nomads. Built with community at its core, my role in this project was to create a brand identity that encourages connection, flexibility, and exploration — empowering professionals to thrive from anywhere across Aotearoa.

Outcome

The final visual identity strikes the perfect balance between fun and professional. The brand mark — also featured within the main logo — depicts a cartoon location pin carrying a laptop, symbolizing flexibility and connection, resonating with remote workers and digital nomads. It incorporates a custom font and quirky character illustrations that bring warmth, personality, and humour. The sleek black-and-white duotone style ensures versatility, while the expressive elements give it heart. Altogether, this brand identity positions NZ Remote as a go-to resource for remote professionals across New Zealand.
